Getting the bugs out of dad's '33.All Henry Ford steel, aftermarket steel tank cover. All original sheet metal, floor and trunk floor,no patch panels,35000 miles on body.1952 eab flathead with truck open drive 3 speed, newer gm rear.Has dropped I-beam with hairpins, disc brakes and yes it has a alternator, electric fan and red wheels.Dad has known this car since he was in school,he painted it in 1974 then it went to Texas.Got lucky and the owner moved back to Ohio and wanted dad to work on it again but he didn't want to spend any money so dad lucked out and bought the car.We done a frame off over the last couple years. This is the first car i remember working on with my dad,he is now 69 and had 2 heart attacks so i'm glad to get it where he can drive it around some this year...
That car is a knockout - I don't think I've ever seen a '33 thats any sharper. The wood trim garnish moldings are perfect. Congrats.
Wow.....just Wow! You're only around 35 miles from me, so I hope to see your car in person this summer! I love that interior! Jim
Awesome! Simply awesome.. Enjoy the moments together.. I always wanted my old man to ride one more time in my car.. But it took him dying to get my hands on it.. Frustrates the shit out of me... Y'all done Good!!
This is what its all about...non car people will never understand, its about the memorys made with the car, not the car itself...sweet ride!! -Enjoy!
