Your .02 cents is encouraged! I had an ad all typed up in the classifieds but neither myself or my dad can come up with a price on this thing. Truely do not know, asking prices across the web seem scattered, and there is not one for sale like it. He's had it with hopes of restoring it for 25-30 years but its time to downsize. What would you ask for it? Whats a fair going price?

Thanks for any help! And yes it is for sale!

I guess this stuff may help: 33 Plymouth coupe, both doors, rumble seat door, hood, fenders, running boards, and I believe a title. No frame, no grill or shell.

That is cool, I wish I lived closer. As far as price, it is whatever the market will bear. I would say, put it for sale for $1500, and list it as OBO. 1500 is just a random number, others may say more...

id say its worth more than 1500 if the body is relatively solid.

I believe that is a 1932 Plymouth.Pics of the dash or vin number would help.

  5. i think i'd take $2,500 for that.
the rumble seat and full fenders are a plus.

Make sure you have the title. A title increases the price by at least $500 over one without a title. Plus it makes it much more sale-able. Many people will not buy a car without a title.

I can do dash pics, give me a few minutes. Vin location on these? Thanks for all the input so far!

  8. The "vin" on my 37 plymouth is located in the pass. side door jamb by the hinges.

$1500-2000 is fair with title or if he agrees to get a title.
If I recall ND isnt bad for issuing new titles.
Looks like some other neat stuff laying around there.

Does have dash but no gauges or anything, no pics because the fenders and boards are all inside sticking out of the roof. Vin is 1750223.

Thanks everybody, its nice already to know some numbers considering that he was going to sell on an offer much lower. Thanks again, you guys are great!

There is, you interested in a late 80's rust bucket S-10, haha! Stay tuned, the cars are maybe teetering on scrap metal but theres a set of late 30s studebakers, coupe and 4d, a 40 (maybe) Buick coupe, and 2 one ton trucks that are fairly decent (29'? chev and 33? dodge). All near Detroit Lakes MN. Thanks again

If it really has a matching title, I think $1500 is a steal. That's a very good looking body style and all the important stuff is there. Even $2500 seems fair. The title is the key, though.

I payed $4000.00 for my 1931 Plymouth pa rumble seat coupe that was 5 years ago. Coups in the north east are hard to find, came with good paperwork. I would say in today market $2000.00 Max. In my option it would cost you $5000.00 for a frame and suspension package . But Looks like a good project!! Get it and welcome to the dark side!!

I think 1500 is about right...if it has a title. $1500 is the "local" price. The car is probably worth $2500 on the East coast, but Detroit Lakes may as well be Hawaii. The cost of shipping/transport really affects the sale price of cars. You still find a lot of this stuff up North but it goes cheap because nobody wants to pay to move it.

  16. Sure looks like a 32 to me also...all 33-34 Plymouths I've seen were of 5 window configuration.. I had a buddy with a 32 Plymouth just like yours. He made a really nice hot rod out of it...couldn't find a MoPar radiator shell and used a 32 ford shell and 32 ford front fenders...really had the ford guys guessing! Looked kinda like a big 32 ford 3 window with 33-34 ford slanted B-pillar and A-pillar with a chop....weird but nice.

here in sunny California that would sell the first day the ad came out for $1500.00. I'd double that price.

Hey Randy- I'm from Fargo as well- I know my boss may be interested in the car at 2k. PM me with your phone number please.

  19. It is a 1932 Plymouth Model PB rumble seat coupe and should go for about $3,000.00 to $3,500.00 since the rumble seat lid is worth about $1,000.00

Thanks everyone for the replies. Seems the post itself has brought enough interested parties to the car. It is not without its rust problems and it does not have a title like I originally thought. Atleast we can be a little bit more comfortable to let it go now. Thanks again everyone.

Your car is a 1932 Plymouth PB coupe rumble seat ! Only 8129 of those were built ! body parts are hard as hell to find. Looks very solid,$4000. You could make that parting it out not even trying.

I just won this body off ebay. I sold a 32 chevy coupe a while back and have been kicking my own ass ever since. Cant wait to get started on the build! Love to get a 392 for it but I already have a healthy BBC 4-speed setup to use. Here is a picture, they dont show on the original post anymore.

Did you get a chance to run over there and look at it? I was in on the bidding also, we ran up there and looked. It is definately a project, but that is what we are here for right? I happened to stumble on a 33 Plymouth while bidding on this one and opted for that one. I hope you enjoy your project. What are your plans? I was thinking chopped and channeled over a Duece frame.... Keep us updated on the progress and I will do the same.

    I sent you a PM,
Every coupe Ive built so far has been channeled, chopped and fenderless. Thats what will probably happen to this one too. But I wil build a frame out of 2x3. Anyone looking for some fenders?
