Thanks for the comments. It's cool that it appears well thought out. The design was, but there was a lot of trial and error in the execution. I didn't bother to take pics of the first two sets of mounts for the bullets....neither pulled the bullets flush with the center bar when tightened. One set bent when I cranked the bolts down and made 'em look like some saggy titties, native style with the nipples pointing toward the earth. Glad I figured that out....haha. I had thought about welding the ends on, but I really like the the '51 grille in stock form and thought leaving the seam might keep the factory look.
Your car has always been one I look forward to seeing, the progress you have made in recent years is paying off. Car has great proportions and the grille has a timeless look to it.
