Hello to one and all, my name is Brant Isaacs. I am 35 years old and I am married with one daughter. I have just started my journey building a 1941 Chevy pickup. Now for the story behind the truck. My dad owned a 1941 pickup that I drove the day that I got married. Dad passed away last year and he wanted my nephew to have the 41 because he is the only grandson and the truck came from that side of the family. So begins my journey. After a long talk the the banker aka "the wife" i got a 40k budget and I started looking for a truck. I found a complete candidate with a title in Montanna. It took me 6 months to get the truck home to Kentucky. When the truck arrived it had a bicentennial license plate and was last licensed in 1979. Well, I just happen to be a 1976 model and my wife was born in 1979. This truck was meant to be found by us. So far I have built a 383 stroker and updated the tired suspension with a tci mustang 2 air bagged front end with a tci air bagged 4 link rear. Next step is to shave all the body lines and reverse the hood. I will get some Picts of the build posted when I get my garage cleaned up a little. Thanks for the wealth of knowledge on this forum. http://i895.photobucket.com/albums/ac157/carhauler89/Mobile Uploads/IMG_8108.jpg
