Did someone eventually tear that car apart, or is it still intact???

It got torn apart, it became the police car that member Mullins has. I sold two real nice 42 sedans to the same guy and one was turned into a race car and this one was robbed of its nice original parts, what a shame!

  13. Dave,
That's what I thought...somewhere I had seen pictures of what you describe. Been busy working on my '36 sedan, but get on here every day. Neat to see many new photographs
    of Willys cars...keep them coming!

Hey Dave here's the old tan sedan now. I just recently sold it to Bernie in Bowling Green. He said it will be at the Hot Rod Reunion next year. When I bought it the steel front end was gone and had a glass front. So I gave the sedan a different look. Hope you approve of the change. It was to nice of a car to cut up.

    A question
Are original willys I beam front axles weak / bend in a drag car or did people put tube axles in to save weight?

The reason I ask is …. Im have one to use when my 65 comet gets its makeover…. I love the look of them drilled and plaited.
