pontiac front motor mount pics in a hotrod please!!!

    I'm putting a pontiac 316 in my Hotrod and would appreciate some pics of your applications!!! Thanx for the ideas!!!!

    There gotta be some pics, I would like to see how you guys built your front motor mounts!!!
     
  3. Isn't there an old conversion mount that bolts to the front cover bolts to give it side mounts? Hurst or someone? Wouldn't be hard to fab the same thing out of plate. I don't trust that little biscuit thing, they're just rubber bonded to steel and will rip right in two or come right off when the rubber gets old.

    Here's my 389 , I used a Hurst motor mount designed for 55-60 steel covers. My engine is a 66 and came with an aluminum cover and switched to a 60 (55-59 reverse cooling) cover to use this mount. You'll need an early style Carter fuel pump that the base can be rotated to clear the mount.

    I found a nos hurst mount on eBay should be here on the next day or so!!!
