Does any know of a carb shop in Chicago or the Chicagland area where I may find a 1bbl carb to fit on a 1980 Ford 200 cylinder head. Cant seem to find one with manual choke. United Carb don't have it.
you looking for a stock-type carb or an earlier one? stock ones (circa 1980) won't have a manual choke, but the earlier autolite 1100s are easy to set up with a universal kit. carter yfs and yfas will work too, are easier to get ahold of and are overall better carbs. holley 94s supposedly interchange too, although i have no personal experience with that. those should be easy to set up for manual choke too. the other option is a 2 barrel adapter plate from one of the falcon six cylinder speed parts suppliers, which will allow you to run an autolite 2100 or holley 2barrel. whatever you do, stay away from the holley 1946 1 barrel, it's an ungodly piece of shit.
