I bought this for 20 bucks cause it was so cool. I have no idea what/where it is from... Originally I thought a heater cover but don't heaters have doors that open and close? Maybe early a/c?

  2. It looks like some writing on the front......is it readable?
If so, could be a hint.

I think it is a heater cover too. The center strip looks similar to the one on a Tropicair heater I have

    The center reads "De Luxe"
It's to big to be a drive in speaker..
It's about 12" tall, 8" wide and 6 deep bolted to something flat in the back.
It reminds me of a rocketeer mask.

Save it for Halloween. A nice black patent leather cape and you'll be ready for a stroll down Hollyweird Blvd.

  8. Sure is a nice heater housing. Looks like the grille on a 1937 Oldsmobile six.

That's what I thought too. My mind immediately went to "Now where could I get a 30 foot Elvis?"
