Top notch work man! Very inspiring build! Awesome attention to detail also. It will be great to see a piece of American history cruising the streets of Italy. Very good color choice for the body in my opinion. Keep us posted!

Hello orula - new to your project, just came acrossed it, looked at all 14 pages! I am a huge fan of 47-55 chev pickups. For what its worth your quality of craftsmanship is top notch! Keep your eye on the prize. "quality doesnt cost it pays"

Hi Tony, I started working with it exhaust tubing, very slowly :).
I'm still studying the optimal position of the pipes and other pieces
    I need to continue.

Next week comes the radiator and other parts to go forward.

Thank you for your interest and thanks to other forum members

    Many thanks to all.

Impressive work, just found your build.
The 3 window vs. 5 window debate just started over on the AD truckers group.

    Hello guys,

    new year, new updates :).
Today I transported the cab to the painter and I'm very happy.

I have installed two wheels and a hook for transport to the old cart.

2 days of hard work to remove the layer of soil on which he was released the paint. Now the hood is ready for the epoxy fund, free from rust and dirt

I went through the whole thread. This build is impressive on its own. When you add the fact that you're half way around the world, its epic. Keep up the awesome work.

Today I worked on the exhaust pipes in the driver's side.
The first section, the most difficult. 2.5" Polished Stainless Steel.
I put the welding points just to hold, then TIG welded.

Today the cab is returned home.
The photo does not show well but the color is beautiful.
Tomorrow I start the reassembly, but the work will be very long

:) I waited a long moment. In my opinion,
is the most beautiful phase of a restoration.
    Carefully assemble every little detail

If you pay to have a car built you end up paying out the ass, even in this small town I live in the local labor rate is $80.00 per hr.
