Our new 59

    Hey there so this our new ride we got it as a Christmas gift.alot of people been after this car but it's never actually been for sale. Turns out that the car belonged to the grandparents of the guy we bought it from. It's all original they traded in thier 55 chevy in 59 for it what rely makes it rare is that in 59 the villager and ranger where the only edsel with a option to get a 223 inline 6. It only has 24,000 on it they only drove it for 11 years in 1970 they bought a Monte Carlo. Check it out

    Nice buy. I live in ontario too, is that the car thats down I st close to mountain? there was an edsel parked in the driveway that i turned my head to everytime i passed by it.

    Yea it's the 1 that use to sit on I st. It needs a gas tank and a carb rebuild hopefully we will be cruisin it soon

    Interesting two tone job on there! My '59 was that same gold color originally, with a white roof.

    The 59's clean up real nice and make for a cool cruiser. Good luck on the getting it on the road.

    Rebuilt carb and started to buff out the paint dang thing polished out like glass I'll post new pics soon thanks guys

    Have everything reedy to on her just can't find a good gas tank so until I find 1 I can't drive it. I plan on lowering it a bit with some spinner caps

    Yesterday was the first day the edsel has seen the road in 20 years. Unfortunately today either the voltage regulator or generator went out. She should be up and runnig tomorrow

    Spooky I may just lower it and put supremes on her for now she's to original to cut up. I already have a few customs so it's a change of pace to have on all stock.

    Damn syncros where shot in the trans hopefully will have the trans back in her in a few days and back on the road.
