Well Jean damned near wooped up on me but I got all caught up on this thread. If you don't read all of the "great build" posts it only takes about three hours to study the photos and read Ian's comments.

 

This is one of the baddest '61s ever. Harley Earl would be proud.

Haha! Thanx a lot guys! The reason the top of the tranny tunnel has a little hump on the passenger side .... Room for the dip stick, which I hadn't though of while building the support structure. had to modify it to make it work and a quick run to pep boys !

Am I the only one who thinks that you should do nothing to the shell but clear coat it? Be a shame to hide all that gorgeous metalwork!
