i would like to build a 33 -35 chevy coupe with fenders . i would like to set the car way down on the ground and for it to be a freeway flyer. chevys dont seam to get much play here on the hamb. let see your 33-35 chevys with fenders. post up what you got.
Not a coupe, my 35 (standard) phaeton, friends 35 (Master) coupe, another 35 (Standard) roadster (Now is Canada) along with another 35 (Master) All enclosed coupe (Sloper), predecessor to Fleetline aero body style and uniquely Australian. All steel cars.
Unfortunately, you're right. I don't have any pix of mine available right now, but here's some that I've used as references...
here's my granddad's shop about 1956 - with my uncle's 31 roadster in front....and that white coupe in the upper back corner - was my great granddad's 35 standard Chevy....they had to finally take the keys away and park it...it would later become a stip car with a hot GMC...
thanks for the pics everyone. there just is not much here on the hamb about these 33-35 chevys. i would like to build one some day and i an just trying to gather info and ideas.
This is my 35 standard coupe. On the front is a 4" drop axle mounted to original leaf springs. Rear is a 9" ford mounted above the original leaf springs with spacers. Powered with a 71 402 big block and 350 trans. No changes were made to the original frame. Hours of work on the wood structure and sheetmetal. A great cruiser with enough guts for an old man.
