Thanks guys! Parts should be ordered sometime soon to get the engine fired! And Im working on the clutch pedal set up tonight. Linkage is good but the pedal rubs on the steering columb... A little heat and some bending and it should be all good!
I guess this is a bit of a build thread... Before. After! A little heat and vwalla! Anyone make repop floors for these trucks?
Hey Joe, best of luck on the new build! If you need any help let me know. We have got a few 32 projects going on at my shop in Oakland for the winter. Hope a LS1 isnt going in there! Just kiddin. All the best!!!!
I guess he didn't hear me...new jersey must be farther from tulsa than I thought...I'll speak louder next time.
No LS1! but the LT1 just sold today... Sad to see it go. But I am much more involved with this truck right now. Buh bye vette
SORRY! Just went back and read your post. chopped 4.75" bed shortened 4.75" front rims 16 with firestone 5" tire rear rims 18" with firestone 95p 7" tire
Not really an update... Just pulled the truck out for some pictures. Figured Im off from work today and its nice out. Cant wait to get this thing running. Designated driver
Great looking hot rod! The stance, and proportions are right on. I like the look of no fenders WITH a hood.
Thanks man. Unfortunately as of right now I can't take any credit for the perfection of this truck haha randy did a killer job setting up the chop and picking the perfect wheel/tire/ suspension setup! It'll be finished one day! It's going to be sick. Can't wait.
Sorry man! Kind of an inside thing with me and my girl. But when we were in Mass. 2 years ago a ford fusion with stick on velocity stacks and side pipes passed us on the hwy and he had a no club lone wolf plaque! Just curious haha Cheers!
Cleaned up the stake pockets that are on the bed right now just to see how square the bed is using the new tailgate hinge plate and the tail gate. Beds not far off. But sure am glad I have new stake pockets because these are layered with plastic on top of metal ontop of plastic on top of 3 layers of paint! Will come together well though.
Alright... small update but its taken me about 2 weeks working on the truck after work to get this far! Mock up of the stake pockets and tailgate hinge panel. Final assembly "up". And down
