Hey Bob! We were looking for you at the show.
We broke down on the way home. Thought the car was on fire! Ended up being a pretty major oil leak around where the oil filter is.

Bad Bob, thank you very much for taking the time to take/post those pics, had me California dreamin' on a snowy Canadian day.

 

Drove it to Irwindale, dropped the clutch 3 times at 6500+ and drove it home. Its a blast to drive. Here is the car at the '62 Winternationals. Its also in the Hot Rod Deluxe year book. Dennis Coker raced it from '59 until '65 when he sold it. I barely have any info between him and me buying the car off ebay Oct. '04 but still searching. Sorry, but glad you didn't buy it, I might not own it now. Looks like we'll probably have it on display at the Grand American Roadster Show in Pomona at the end of January. Dennis and his wife are bringing all their old picks and trophys. Do you remember what the asking price was at the swapmeet back in the 90's?

Damn dude, you got the "King Taco Truck" now I'm not only home sick, BUT HUNGRY

 

I try to stay out of the bags/no bags,debate. I just try to catch the cars that I think you guys would like to see. I took over 450 pic's and still didn't get all the ones I wanted. Plus...you can add 3-4 crappy RatRods inbetween each of my shots! I don't post them,no matter who built them.
(I don't care for airbags,myself,haha)
