Got rid of that...and got this. Beleive me, pretty cars get boring after awhile. At least it did for me. This Sedan was in a shed for 30 yrs. Crusty? Yes. But I enjoy it more being able to weld and cut on it. 283 4-spd. and no worries about it being touched or scratched or driven in sandy, salty, snowey roads. Getting older, want to run em rather than protect em.

Here are a couple of 56 Chevy's with some patina. The white sedan still has 100% original paint.

Whatever you do, don't touch the left front on the wagon. That's original patina by the renowned customizer "Crunch".

denniscocker.jpg The black n white photo is Dennis Coker driving our car at I belive the '62 Winternationals. The Cokers have just found the photo album for the car with 40 some photo's from the original White/Maroon two tone until the red paint job with "Isky 505" on the quarter panel before they sold it in '65. There is also a pic in the Hot Rod Deluxe yearbook this year.

  27. Well there isnt too much patina on the outside any more but the engine still shows signs! Original (rebuilt) 2BBL carb, oxidized-as-hell valve covers, rusty oil filler cap, rusty original exhaust manifolds complimented by the original single master cylinder. AND... the interior is all original... in fact there's not much left.[IMG]
