My names Shawn and my brother in law Micah and I around this time last year were sick of our day jobs, He worked for Asplundh trimming trees but is a certified Harley mechanic and worked at custom shops in Phoenix for 7 years and I was a director of a telecommunications company that developed software for large clients to better help them manage their telecommunications invoices, and start our own shop. In July of 2011 we moved out of my 2 car garage and got a real shop in Baldwin City KS. The name of our company is Barnyard Scraps Restoration. We mainly work on old vintage bikes and specialize in British bikes but are also building some hot rods and working on my daily driver a 62' C20 and my wifes daily driver a 65 Falcon. Our current hot rod project is a 58' Ford F100 where we took the suspension and drivetrain from a 90' Crown Vic and merged to the 58' frame. Its been great so far and like many small businesses face our challenges but have high hopes and are putting our faith in the Lord. We have a facebook page with some of past and current projects just look up Barnyard Scraps Restoration if interested and we look forward to helping and receiving help from ya'll.
Where in KS are you? I've got a 59 f100 panel and I'm looking for parts if you know of any good donor trucks. Oh and welcome!
