HA HA!!! My buddy and i had one of them at our old garage that went right into the lake next store. Screw dem ducks!!!
When I started this thread, this is exactly the kind of post I hoped not to see. The barn is cool, the cars are neat, but I don't get the attitude. Brian
i know i am a little late to the party, buy here are a few of my place: upon further review, i can only find some old ones from when i moved in 2 years ago. i'll look for some more recent ones too. or go out and take a few pics.
Gow, your place looks like a place where some real work can get done. So roomy!! Am I the only one with a normal sized garage? Damn!
I cant say that is dont have a garage cause I do. It just happens to be 800 or so miles north. at the moment I am working in the backyard of my In laws rebuilding a VW motor on the back patio and keeping warm by a fire pit. but shit I am thankful to be alive and still working on shit. I was just out last night looking around at the couple of motorcycles around me and the beautiful sky above and the camp fire next to me as I torqued a set of heads in place. Priceless!!!!!!
They may not be for sale, but the way it was put was somewhat arrogant. In a case like this I would rather the poster just keep his pictures to himself.
that was a couple years ago. it's kinda packed now. i'll try to get a shot from the same place and post it tonight.
This had a thought about those garage carlifts. I have not done the research as to whether the carlifts are earthquake-proof but, here in California, earthquakes are a part of life/death. During my time spent employed at the phone company, I had to ensure that all equipment bays were seismic 5 earthquake braced. What this meant is that the footing & securing bolts had extra shear strength plus cross braced if possible. Considering the tonnage the lifts are supporting, I do not know if the lifts are cross/lateral braced and from what I see, definitely not wall braced considering that the wall is very close. If a real shaker hit, I would hate to have up to two (maybe more) cars severely damaged. Has anyone else looked into this? Again, this is mainly for the Cali crowd.
An english messy garage! (and only 3 inches longer than the chevy it houses!). Had to back the car out to get the picture! I'm deeply envious of some of the garages you guys have... they're bigger than my bloody house
My wife was pissed off one day because she couldn't get her car in the garage so I moved both of mine over and squeezed hers in and made it a 3 car garage. She wasn't too impressed....
Panorama shot of my tight garage...not much room for work. Good thing my brothers got a big one !!!! Garage that is. thumbnail
Damn, I love all the signs you guys collect. I haven't seen a Spur gasoline sign since I was a kid. Cool garage.
Does anybody remember who had the cheerleader skirt hanging on the wall? I think it was KiwiKev wasn't it? That cracked me up when I saw it
Here's my little slice of heaven. I love my garage, wish it was a little bigger, but it does the job.
i have only lived here for 6months. so bear with my unorganized shop....and lack of concrete...but its a start for 26 and a parts store salary.
