The books are the plans. The first book you need is the charcoal foundry.

 

I know times are tight but I think they were dirt cheap through lindsay books last I checked. If I was interested giving them away I bet shipping would be more than to purchase from them. Might try your local library and good luck

 

I just bought the entire Gingery series of books for $50 from Lindsay. Ditto the books are the plans..You need to start with the foundry and the lathe is the second project because it builds itself and all the rest of the tools.

 

It's not that much to buy the books individually, I have the charcoal foundry book, when I get done with it I'll progress to the lathe book.
