Keeping the car in primer wasn't doing the body much good so I decided it had to be done now in case we have a winter as harsh as last year's. I just wanted a basic flat black, but I was talked into scallops, and pinstripes found their way into the conversation as well. So here's the end result, and I love it. Yes, it's a 4-door, and yes, I'm getting rid of the white letters. Here's some pics
aint much on 4door cars but i like this one.must be the paint scheme!which i REALLY like.i also like the white letter tires but the rims not so much.
no on the whitewalls. whiteletter or maybe some firestone redline.yea, i think that would look tits. redline on some cragar ss.but then again thats just me.
looks great, if you go white walls change the wheels.. the wheels on it now could work with red lines.. its a nice car period.. good job. chris.
Great looking ride... I passed up a chance to get a '56 4 door for $1500. I didn't have the money really, and really didn't have a place to store it, and get it running.. I thought the 4 door would look really cool.. Something different, and something to fit my 4 kids in.
good job on the scallop layout. This car is definately begging for wide whites and steelies with hubcaps, or chromies with skinny whites.. but I would go with the WWW
Aloha, Looks great! Do what you like with the wheels, it's your car. Nothing wrong with a 4 door man. Now.... if I can just get some paint on my 35 Chevy. Shaka, Al
Nice job. I like it, and nothing wrong with a 4 door !! Personally I like the steel wheel with wide whites theme too, but your choice.. Keep us posted ! Cheers..........
Thanks alot guys, I'm thinking about wide whites with flippers but i'm not sure yet. Every time I think of a wheel/tire combo, I change my mind. Credit for the paint goes to Hollywood Garage here in Staten Island, those guys are great. I'm going to a show tonight I'll get more pics up!
Looks Bitchin' man...so many choices with wheels and tires. I vote for chrome steelies and red lines !!!
I wasn't sure I liked it in the first pic. But the full on side view in front of the house won me over. Thats a tight four door. Well done.
I was thinking the same thing. The scallops are very well done. It took me a minute to realize it was a 4 door. Nice work
I'm thinking it's about time for new wheels, I'm definitely thinking chrome with skinny whites but I'm having a hard time finding them in the size I want
