A buddy of mine with an old coupe only has one arm. If I found myself in his position, and I hope I never do, I'd put some script on the car the would read:

    THE ONE ARM VIOLINIST
The reference of course to the movie Hollywood Knights.

I've got American Graffiti and More American Graffiti on DVD.

Favorite line and one that I hope to one day get Paul LeMat to autograph for me: "Look at your glasses man"
Another great one would be the liquor store scene
clerk: "Got an I.D. for the liquor?"
Toad: "Yeah... Oh, nuts, I left it in the car"
clerk: "Sorry, you'll hafta get it before"
Toad: "I also, I forgot the car"

  8. American Graffitti was my Senior movie, thanks to me and my friend who was in charge if the decision.
I watch it at least a couple times a month, even back to back, sometimes.
My signature is my favorite line from the movie....

Yes, it was Dennis. Brian was a total recluse at the time.

I'm pretty sure I never missed a car or motorcycle movie from sixties through the seventies.

I think there were three identical 55 Chevys used for the movie.

One of my favourites too. Only noticed it last week.

Back in 2009 my family and I spent the best night in Petaluma being shown all the film locations by the Cruisin' the Boulevard crew in style...'56, '58 Impala and the '61 Galaxie cop car...

Then the next day we spent at Penngrove at the Revolution. What a blast.

Station Attendant: Took the header plugs off, eh? Expectin' some action?
John Milner: Yeah, I think so. There's some punk lookin' for me.
Station Attendant: Why the hell do they bother? You've been number one as long as I can remember.
John Milner: Yeah. Been a long time, ain't it? I'll see ya.

Your correct, I always think of Bryan first.
Dennis was the one, and a dark horse, had a run in with that Helter Skelter dude too.

James Taylor too... a very strange couple of guys for those rolls.

  18. Wolfman at his best;you got any of them secret agent spy scopes, man, that pulls in the sky,the moon and the planets.........and the satellites and the little bitty spacemen :D

Bobby Freeman's "Do you wanna dance" behind this scene is perfect, followed by the Wolfman's howl at the break.. come'on boy, let's go, prove it!

excellent point! actually this "some enchanted evening" scene wasn't even in the theaters when i saw the movie in 1973, neither was the "why dont you go kiss a duck" scene, they added those later...

i've always dug that signature of yours, knew exactly where it was from.. that's one of my very favorrite scenes, the way Falfa glances over at Toad right before he revs his own engine is priceless!
