At 16 y/o I learned the sign stood for "squeal tires on pavement". That's all it took. I was fortunate to spend my teens in an era that still spent Friday and Saturday night "shooting the loop" downtown, cars still came with V8's, and NO one knew what the hell a video game was! I was re-building motors (attempting) in my parents garage long before I was out of school, and have had many projects over the years. I have always been an "old school" kind of guy (still hunt with a flintlock rifle"), but have just recently shifted my projects to pre-50 vehicals. I love to fabricate and create, and will take on anything, I'll figure it out! I would be remissed if I didn't mention an ever present influence and lifelong reference manual, my Uncle Jim (Irish Jr)! As a twenty year veteren of the fire service, I know what it means to be a newbie (we call em boots). So I will sit back, eat my humble pie, and learn. Thanks.
