Can I call it a taildragger yet

We did a trial fit today .before we painted the skirts seem I'm going to have to do some mods to make them sit nice as they pop out at the top at the rear so looks like they won't be on this week dam it. But at least now i know I like the look with them on

 

Perfect. Those skirts are really going to make the car, do not lower it anymore. I dig it with and without the hood too.

The hood will be back on by the end of the week just had it off while I had the engine out

 

I think you just changed my mind on the color of my 42 hudson kustom! Great looking car. Like you need to hear it again, but great job

 

Don't go any lower, keep the skirts and keep the hood. It'll look much smoother, trust me.

 

I was just talking with a neighbor of a friend who was looking at my car and then brought out a photo of his car from the early 50s. Your car is the living color version of that old b/w photo down to the last detail - same model, no hood, 2-carb with same filters, non-painted skirts and all - it lokks just like it.

 

Love the color and car,getting them shirts to fit right will be hard but look great.

 

Who's gunna help you put the hood on cause I'm not?
