Saw him a few years back for the Christmas show, fantastic! They also had a nice selection of cars parked near the venue.
Show up earlier in the day and hit the Hot Rod Revolution at Camp Mabry. Ewww... Did you see that? I just straight up acted like a show promoter. I feel sort of dirty now.
Saw the Stray Cats in '80 in England. Saw Setzer's Christmas show about five years ago, awesome show!!
Ryan, before you know it, you will be wearing a purple suit, white shoes and a big hat with a feather.
I want to go to this. Thanks for the heads up. LINK TO CONCERT INFO : http://www.lazonarosa.com/2011/10/brian-setzers-rockabilly-riot/
Setzer and the band are great!! You won't be disappointed. When I saw him there were 2 little old ladies in front of us, upper 80s I'd guess. Looked kind of shocked by the music. I think they saw Christmas Show and bought tickets. Seemed funny. They stayed for the whole show though so maybe they knew what they were going to hear!! I'm going to Chuck Berry Sat. 11/5. Hope he can still play. He's 85!!!!! figure it's worth it to see one of the originals. Bill
What Axle said. Brian is a guitar /music legend - the fact that he is a hot rodder and digs rods & kustoms and our scene is the icing on the cake. Rat
Brian Setzer is the one who got me into this crazy scene, I mainly only listen to 40s and 50s rock n roll now, but i still have a soft spot for Setzer, and I saw him with the Cats a few years ago, great show, i'd go see him anytime.
trust us all when we say the guy is a master at the guitar! you won't be disappointed...saw him at the gibson amphitheater in hollywood and at the house of blues in anaheim for new years a few years back....this guy puts out an amazing show...go cat go!
One of the best live performances I've been to. Dirty Boogie tour at the Greek in Griffith Park, Hollywood, CA! I'm still ruined by his performance. The best! GO CAT GO!!! is right. Of course, any concert that starts out with a live performance of the James Bond theme (which became Setzer's theme that night) is going to be a great night. One man one guitar, the band can go home ... ... but I'm sure glad they didn't.
I saw him a few years back with The Straycats and all i have to see is you're in for a treat! Brian Setzer is a guitar god!
My cousin used to share a house with him on LI, many years back. They played in the same bands pre-Stray Cats. I saw him play at the local clubs around Freeport, unbelievable guitar player and a nice guy. Bob
Been a fan since listening to the Stray Cat I saw them play the last show at the Rainbow music hall in Denver 198? I have also seen the X mass show a few times,,,,,Do not miss it !!'!
I snapped this picture of Brian's coupe. He drove it to the 2010 Minneapolis Messaround car show. You can barely see him standing on the other side of it, in the middle of the pic.
I bought tickets to Wichita the day they were released. I saw the Christmas tour a few years ago. I'm really looking forward to it.
