    Wet sand 600, then 1000, then 2000
Then 3M Perfect It II on a wool pad
3m black swirl mark if necessary.

Wait till y'all see the deck lid tomorrow. It's out a sight

That car is beautiful! And I don't know who is cuter - your Son or your Dad (at least that is who I think they are)?

  8. So I guess you will take back your comment on it being junk now won't you. God that car is one of most straightest and rust free 36's I have ever seen. Glad it made it out to you safe and sound.

  9. Yowza; that trunk lid came out real nice! Just goes to show, there's no substitute for
    elbow grease.

I know it hAs been a while. Finally got my juice induction together after piecing parts together. I hate getting stalled on a parts search/ gathering mission, but it happens sometimes. I think it is gonna be worth the wait.

Bet it was contemplating what was next in life for a bit here in AZ with all the hot rod carnage going on out side it's door. That's okay, I was walking back every few days or so and talkin' nice to it and giving it a good friendly pat every now and then! Nothing unseemly, of course... It's lookin' good!!!

Congrats, that's looking great. '36 3-window is top of my bucket list.
Digging those bumpers too, just.....where are you putting that Lexus decal you left on the floor?:D:eek:

I may be slow but I am terribly persistent. I have about a thousand shake down miles now and am really pleased with this set up . ImageUploadedByTJJ1373419592.815911.jpg

Pulled the stock gauges and replaced with some Stewart Warners. They fit surprisingly well, still working on a tach for the ash tray hole. I dropped the waterfall and think I like this much better if I can get the tach worked out

  30. I think my heart just skipped a beat....

    Great car.

What's the story with those ripple discs? I can't say I've seen a set with Lincoln badging before.
