Drag link

1932 ford with SBC drag link hits harmonic balancer on compression of spring. Is it possible to lower center of drag link about 2 inches safely, if so how? There is very little clearance between stock wishbone so center must be lowered or bent any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

I believe you are talking about your tie-rod, not your drag link.

 

Unless it was converted to cross steer....


Anyway either heat and bend the steering arms or heat and bend the drag link down for clearence would be the easy way in my book
