I was just thinking, that a heavily modified camaro being traded for a heavily modified 150 was like a do-si-do.

Don't mean to start any drama!

  3. I'd say...if you want a compact...buy a Mini Cooper,not a Mini Pooper!

There is a guy that drives around town here in a 53 Studebaker that he shortened into a coupe with no backseat..I can't decide if I want to stop him and talk over the vision/craftmanship of the car or just punch him....

That car is as ugly as homemade soup. If you was a shriner with a trained monkey ,,,,,, maybe.

There is nothing mentioned in the 2007 Traditional Hot Rod Rulebook stating that '55-'57 Chevys are sacred from the rodder's torch now that we live in the "Barrett-Jackson" 21st century. I like it's appearance, particularly in the '57 Camino version but it's equally cool as a wagon, too. Any car that'll pull the front wheels on the street would be a blast to drive, also. So if this '57 would make you happy, buy or trade for her. Forget resale values, have fun..:)

Well, I thought it meant hooking arms and going around in circles like a square dance, but I just looked up square dance moves and it is something different. As Emily would say: "never mind."

I built and drove a 55 and a 56 and they ran down the road fine up to a 100 mph. They were wicked in off road situations, and would eat a jeep up when it came to get up and go in the brush.

After reading through the posts.... I can see I am a minority... but it looks like a blast to drive with a caddie motor... how fun...

I think it would be a fun one to have..

the proportions make the car look silly,,,,i think it could look cool shortened,,just not that much,,,,,,if you like it though, the price seems reasonable,,probably couldnt duplicate it for that price.......

Never much cared for shortened coupes and sedans, but the wagon is kinda cool. If you like it, do it.

Don't expect someone who can't follow simple instructions to be bothered to read the dates on the threads they post on...
