I have a 59 F100 with a 289/C4. Everything else is stock. I would like to work on lowering it. Never done this. I know there is probably multiple ways to do this. Can someone direct me to some previous threads that might give me some direction on where to start?
    Thanks, Morg.

  2. Mine is a 64, but it's basically the same suspension. For the front I removed every second leaf spring, the rear has every second leaf removed, and I flipped the axle to the top of the springs. Had to C notch the back for clearance. The front sits on the bump stops. It doesn't ride too bad, but it by no means rides great.
In total the front came down 4", the rear 5 1/2"

or you can get some 2x4 tubing and create your own ;) haha it ended up 3 inches from the ground so i put 1in lifting blocks on it, and in this picture it sits at 4 inches
