Wow...some really killer stuff here this week.

I can't take credit for the art (Eddie Mendez did the tat), but I got this a while back...

My brother and dad have the same one in the same place. My bro and I finally talked dad into gettin it, which is his first tat.

And I think I might have posted this a few weeks back...but I figured I'd share it again for anyone who might have not seen it...

Real fine show again this week.
Here is a piece I did for a tutorial on My Ride Is Me.
Check it out if you get a chance. I share all my nefarious secrets of how I make a painting.

    Hope you dig it.

If anyone wants to participate in the art show/auction that runs in conjunction with Vintage Torque Fest - please let me know.
We will send contributing artists a 2 foot tall Rat Fink.
So far 3 sheets, Big Toe, Todd Jones, and about 15 others have stated they would contribute. But we are hoping to get more artists involved.
We hope that if you commit to the art show that you will actually participate.

I would love to help out. Sent you an email.

@Fiorano- A filter over the rendering, which was done on a wacom tablet using Sketchbook Pro software.
    And Thanks.

    Great stuff, everyone.

    My contribution this week:

Seems like most of the gassers in the world are either Willys coupes or tri-five Chevys. What's wrong with a '50's Packard? Or a '57 Rambler wagon? How about a chopped Airstream trailer body on rails with a flathead V-12 from a Lincoln with an Ardun conversion and a supercharger or two? You could have a keg for aviation fuel, and another for beer. After the race, you could climb in the back and have a nap. It'll be called "The Sleeper", the only racer with a wood floor and a microwave.

I have to go draw that now.

  17. Wow these are incredible!! They would make awesome large scale prints.

Just a bus from me this week. It's my friends bus...lives 4 blocks away.

Note: I own a 64 Valiant now, so maybe we'll have some new subjects soon.

Frekkin great show guys. Always inspired.

I know the subject matter is too new for here but it's all I got for this week. Almost finished just needs some finish shading on and around the car. Also debating on the background...

Its certainly ok with me since I missed it the first time. Love the symmetry and vibrant colors. Great idea, Bernie.
