Lookin' good - still got plenty to do obviously, so not much sleep if you're gonna make it, but either way, it looks great.

What's the steering box out of?

  11. Rock on, congrats, and whilst I appreciate the emotional rollercoaster you're currently riding, it's great to see the progress, and as Corey mentioned, you have won regardless to the outcome.

Going to guess that it has more to do with post #56....is the adaptor concentric?

    Cheers,

thanks for all the positive remarks, i had so much help, i was hoping to have every one that helped out on the dirt track but its not to be:(.
yesterday after the start up it was clear that that there was a leak in the head, so late last night a mate come round to help me change the head gaskets as i had a full set here for my engine, small price to pay for the loan of the engine i thought, as soon as the head was off we were greeted with this...

i am gutted for thommo as its his motor and was sold to him like this when they must have known about it, i spoke to him today to let him know the story, hope to be able to help him out as everyone has helped me.

so thats it for now, don't get to dirt drag, but am stoked at how much more i am along.

    cheers rob

Man, that really sucks. So close, yet so far.
Great work and hope you'll be in better mood after a few beers at the weekend and planning for the new engine. :)

long time between updates, lots of things getting done...slowly.
best of all is i have almost finished the engine, having never built one from the ground up it was a bit of a learning curve, but i think it turned out well, just waiting on some heads and i'm good to go.

Glad to see an update. How 'bout some photos of how the car has progressed. I imagine it's lookin' real good (fingers crossed).

Oh yeah, the flattie looks bitchin - all shiny and machined.

    Cheers.
