Paint gurus

    I was wondering if its possible to use pearl in single stage paint..if so is the process any different than using it in clear coat?

    If you mixed pearl with a single stage the color would overpower the pearl. The pearl must be laid on top of the color to get the full effect.

    That would be my thought as well. MAYBE you could put a whole shitload in the very last coat of paint and lay it on to get some effect, but I doubt it'll show up very well, and I think most of the effect that pearl gives is the reflection under the clear like how a mirror works with the silver reflecting under glass.

    yea you wont notice it because the the pearl get painted with the color if that makes anysense.
