I need cheap rear 61.9 inches wide

    Cheapest way to get a rearend that is or could be cut (More $) to 61.9 inches wide?
    My car is 4200Lbs and I want highway ratios (3.40-2.80)

    Looking for ideas of donor cars and shops to cut if I must
    THANKS

    3rd gen Camaro/firebird(82-92) are just less than 62''. However, if you are planning to apply mediocre amounts of torque, you will eventually scatter it all over the road. For a cruiser though it works great. Bypass the GTA 9 bolt disc brake rears though. While they are stronger, they are rare and usually expensive, have few ratio choices, and are finiky on the adjustment of the emerg brake. 3.23 and 3.42 gears are common in 87 ish 6 cyl cars. 82- 84 v8 cars usually have 2.73 /3.08 ratios.

    I see alot ladies ass's that wide in the frozen food aisle in Walmart.
