I am building a 348 with a truck block.big compression reliefs in cylinder wall.was wondering if it is worth putting a stroker kit in it.not looking to be super fast,just sound good and burn out.any help would be great.thanks
Lots of options with that block. Stroke it with a 409 crank and some new pistons. Ton of cams available and other goodies. Lots of info over on the www.348-409.com. Search for threads from Jim in Canada. He did a write up on the mods that can be done. There are a lot of 348 options over there and some great guys that know the W engines.
