I went as a spectator and had a blast. A lot of ingenious builds and creative craftsmanship. Got good ideas and information from participants. Lots of lovely ladies dressed for the occassion enjoying the atmosphere. Was able to purchase a much needed item from one of the few swap vendors....six bladed Ford fan which is now bolted on. All in all, best ten bucks I ever spent for an event. Plan on being a participant next year. This was a well orchestrated car show with a BIG turnout. Cudos to all who participated in making it possible! Jalopy Joker thanks for posting the pix! Got more?
I traded it for Alteredpilot's old '52 Chevy that was in the Long Beach Autorama. The complete build is under the "Kilch Koupe" or something or other. Ian Berky and Vintage Metal did all the work on the car.
Not to hijack Jokers thread but here is a few I got from yesterday. I have more if nobody minds me posting in this thread.
Cool pics. Did you happen to get pics any of that deep purple 33 coupe with the hot flathead? Damn that thing had a wicked sound. . .
Yea, thanks Alan and the Dragoons for another great show. i actualy ran out of gas at the corner of the fairgrounds, but bought a jerry can at the swapmeet going on outside the fairgrounds. but still had a great time. thanks again rich
