Ha ha. I was so happy when my brother sold this!



He bought it from a fellow HAMBer, but my brother got 12 thumbs in the middle of his left hand. (And he is right-handed...) So who had to help the moran?

I also want to say: It was a great car, with good solutions. But you all know what happens when a moran starts to drive a car like this?

 

Car is very light and it launched so violently that is gets airborne for a couple seconds.

 

Not a Dumb question at all... sometimes a car launches so hard that it comes up on to the rear push bar or skid and elevates until the rears unload. Which was the case with Nanook on many occasions!

But sometimes it's caused by a hard landing and a severe bounce!

pure hell.. i can remember being like 14 seeing it on the cover of a hotrod magazine.. and thought it was so cool. on my way to ace today to get some sand paper.. i saw my first blown engine car that was not associated with some kind of car event. iv just not seen any that i can remember.. so what breaks my cherry..

a blown PT cruiser wearing back and white aka a cop car. looked like mesa car i did not get a great look was on the other side of the street as i was heading home. freaking blown pt cruiser aka cop car. i guess iv seen it all now. im afraid to say all the polished chrome blower bits did not help make the P.T cruiser any cooler.

This has got to be one of the baddest. This car is street driven a lot and runs low 8s in the 1/4. Look up Andy Fadster on Facebook or Youtube to see more.

Its all change since then, Twister now runs a 16/71 magnesium Littlefield Hi-helix blower on a 598ci BBC. Best run this season has been 8.35 @ 175 but without transbrake. We are only running 6 psi of boost and can run quite a bit more. We are racing this weekend at Stratford upon Avon and will be turning the boost up a little to try to get the elusive 7 second pass. Still all very street legal and we have done some 1500 miles since the rebuild in May...... few pics and vids for you here..........
