Wow that looks sweet! But it needs new color. What if we kept the red and black but did just the rood of the cab black and the rest red or the other way around? You guys with the photoshop are awesome! Thanks!

Invicta, I really like this color, or one close to it, on your truck. I am a bit out of practice so I was unable to add color back to the rest of the pic- sorry.

I have to say, I dig it!

  5. Nice, skoh! :D If you just said a cream and black two-tone it doesn't sound like anything special. But when you see it you know it works. Sort of gives it a "formal" look, kind of like a blacksmith wearing a tuxedo to work! ;)

Wow I've been blown away by some of the changes done in this thread. I've thought of getting the software a long time ago but just don't think I have the skills to use them.

Any chance I could get a 1955 Chevy looking bumper without the guards on the rear of my Cadi. I'd be forever greatful.

Here ya go. To be honest, I'm not really a fan. I would go with another, lighter color- maybe white.

While the Dodge Magnum is too new for the HAMB, I thought I'd give
it a go, as it did have a retro-vibe going.

I did a section in two versions: one with a rear window and one
as a half-delivery - just the rear blanked in.

While the body looks sleeker, it loses the hunky chopped top look it shared with the Chrysler 300. I raised the front wheel-well through the section.
I also shaved the door handles and lost the clunky mirrors.
This is a custom, after all.

By the way, was this "stock" version was ever produced?
The Magnum was cancelled early due to poor sales.

well folks , thank you anyway ................... must be busy .... steve

  17. Well... here´s what it might look like, although it´ll take some serious chopping to do it. I think you might need to start with two `55 bumpers to get all the bits you need and for the width across the middle. Not really sure if the height is correct either.

James that is perfect! You are the Man! Thank you soo much for that. I figured it would take 2 to get it right. The one pictures is actually a front bumper. The rear has less of a curve in it. Thats beautiful. Thanks again. I hope you don't mind if I add that to my build thread.

  19. Not at all.
I´m just saying, it´s easier for me to make it look like it fits than it may be to actually fit it!

I have been thinking of painting this roadster a 50's copper color, kinda flat copper. Also want to see it with a chopped tan soft top like bop top can anybody show me what it could look like?

You're quite welcome. You know, I've read about Bonneville for years but not in depth like I have here on the HAMB. The more I read the more I'd like to attend. Who knows, we both may get out there someday.

Edit:- Damn! I should have looked at the top of the page and stolen the top off the roadster, rather than painting a new one!!
