'50s caddies as trucks? Seems kind of, well .tasteless, and redneck to me. Maybe even disrespectful? Still, different strokes for different folks etc Well, you did ask. Paul
I've seen real Caddy pickups for hauling flowers for funerals, nothing "disrespectful" there. Although this one seems to have a Ford bed, kinda sluming maybe.
It most likely started out as a four door that had been rear ended and a pickup that had the nose and cab totaled. Saved rather than hacked might be a better term.
Used to be a guy around here that converted 70's El Dorado's into pickups using El Camino beds. I know he did 2 or 3 of them. Sorry, no pictures (Yea, I know it didn't happen). Larry T
Hmmmm, you guys make some valid points so I'll cut the philosophical crap and just say what popped into my head when I initially saw it. It sucks big time. Paul
I did a search and found these. They were called flower cars. They're not used too much any more. I like em' I think this one is just a pickup.
Yeah, a friend of mine owns around 25 flower cars and hearses, around half of them are wood-bodied, so awesome.
