Dick, at Dicks Hot Rod Carbs went beyond my expectations! Now I need to hurry up and finish my 348. I'm putting this in a 31 coupe I'm building! Can't wait to fire it up!
Looks Sharp. Good Luck getting them all dialed in. I've got a 4 X 2 setup on my '32 Ford 5W (4) 2bbl Rochester 2GVs on an Offy Intake. Was pretty easy to get started, but still a challenge to get 'em all working together. Mostly "Lean Poping" issues. Keep us posted on your progress.
I am running on the middle two, the front two and rear two should start to come in around mid throtle.
I had an x1 on my sbc, I ended up blocking the outer four completely. Make sure you get one of the synchromizer deals for airflow. I hope you have better luck than I did. Those are so bad ass looking. Once I got mine dialed in the way I had it it worked real good. But I was running an automatic with tall tires and highway gears, and almost no stall. Not really the ideal setup for a strip intake, congratulations on your set up, it is beautiful! Joe

I've been running six Holleys on my 371" Olds for several years and no real problems tuning. I run progressive linkage,removed All the power valves (went up a couple numbers on the jets) and blocked the idle circuits on the four corner carbs so that all they do is dump. Then all I have to deal with as far as tuning is the two center carbs.
I had enough trouble with three, I don't even want to think about six. They do look great though. I think my problem was in part to my blower. Seemed like they were either running to rich at idle, didn't want to start very well, and wanted to try and lean out under full throttle. I gave up and sold the whole carb set-up.
