Hello out there, I'm in quite a pickle. I need some ideas so I can pull the trigger on installing a motor in my '51 merc and get this project on the road. Here is what I have, Caddy 500, Inline 250 with headers and a Clifford 4 barrel intake, and last choice is of course and built 350. the Merc is a full custom Bill Hines chop sitting on an El Camino chassis. What do you Think?

Well, not slow. It's over 300hp with a radical cam. Pretty trick

Ok, so far it 6 for the Caddy, 2 for the inline and 0 for the 350. Anymore takers? Thanks for all the input!

"Hey look! Another 350!" No one wants that reaction. You can't really go wrong with the others.

I ran a caddy 500 in a truck. Awesome torque, smooth runner and 16 mpg with a th350 amd 4.10 gears and 38 inch tires. A buddy runs one in his chevelle with 3.08 gears and 29 inch tires gets 21 mpg. Awesome engines!!!
