And now it looks like this...

So far, I've learned that I'm real good at turning bolts counter clockwise, taking things apart, and packing them away in the garage/sheds...

You have to love New England and the creative bodywork done in the late 70's early 80's. I found everything from bolted in street sign panel patches to newspaper under bondo! The worst part is...it looked decent before blasting!

Hi KoolKemp, that is one cool looking 47 Ford. You are the Man.It looks so good. Nice job! You would have been bored to death with my Reo, it had no rust.Very few dings to straighten out. It had been in storage for 35 years.

Brought it home with a pair of axles, a few boxes of random parts, and the excitement of finally getting to build a T bucket (I've wanted to build one for a few years). It's not finished yet, but it's gettin' there.
3rd picture is most recent; after 3 months of building.

Hi KoolKemp, My 32 Reo was only $3500. My 28 Ford Pickup (running) $4000. both rust free. I'm not any good at bodywork,I can do everything else without problems. This is why, I look for near perfect projects that doesn't require that kind of work. You are very exceptional at what you do with your projects. That's why I like this site. People like you that show your talent and are very good at it.Thanks for posting. Ralph

Found 35 in 1999,a couple of shots along the way and today. It has a 350 with 200 4/r overdrive and ford 8 in. rear. The fiberglass fenders in the third picture have been removed and the original ones rebuilt. I never liked the fiberglass.Built for easy cruising ,not racing. Has a few creature comforts with more planed.

Trouble is, it still kinda looks the same. Just in pieces and spread out more.

    Only been a few months:confused:
