And did I see Steve Magnante there? [HRM, Barret-Jackson Auction] He was busy talking to a bunch of people or I would have asked..

Definitely a ton of unique stuff. Being a Buick guy in a world where most things have a Chevy engine, one of my favorites was the '57 Chevy with the 401 Nailhead in it. That's a first for me.

Dig Surf music. One of my favorite genres.
    These guys were good.Smoking set.All instrumental.Great sound.
    Tsunami of Sound.
Just caught these guys as we were woofing some dogs and drink. What we heard while wandering from the other bands wasn"t shabby either.

There was some dust and the hill to the spectator parking was like a hill climb. That was a challenge to keep from spinning the wheels and avoiding rock damage to the pans.
They did have a bus, thats it at top of hill,we rode down and up on so that was cool.On the way up the bus was loosing traction and spitting rocks and dirt.Added to the enjoyment.
    Had a blast.

Here is the lovely Mrs.Bucksnort leading the way down the path to our car after the bus ride up the hill.

Not to hijack the thread, but congrats Keith, awesome car.
Not only does it look great, but it hauls ass.
I followed him to the Antique Drags last weekend, and he was doing 80+ all the way!

  25. Had a great time once again yesterday. Longest trip with my '48 to date. Went great...saw some tornado damage too. Holy shit what a mess!

Amazing show and a great time. My only complaint was the last part of the "road" up to the clubs and camping area which was sketchy and not cool for real low cars. Maybe next year I'll go up earlier and help Lance grade and level that a bit..Does anyone know who wound up buying this 48 Buick. At $7K it had a ton of us scrambling to make offers, but the seller wasn't answering his phone. I hear it did sell..The car was making my chest hurt.
