What Did You Do While The HAMB Was Down

I don't know about the rest of you but I learned a few things while the HAMB was down.
1. I spend a whole lot of time on the HAMB.
2. There sure ain't much to watch on TV.
3. My wife got a new haircut. (unfortunatly she got it 3 days ago)

 

Drank. Which I'd have done anyway....

 

Well I slept for part of it.
Took the wifes truck for service and worked on the bathroom remodel that I really need to get done in the next 3 weeks.

Lots to do all the time. this being retired crap is killing me.

 

I put the kids to bed and chased my old lady around the house for a while.

Nothing else to do without a project currently, and HAMB not working.

 

I spent most of the time checking to see if it was back up!

I learned that I come here too often!

 

Went to bed at a resonable time.

 

I located and blew the dust off of my Y2K SHTF supplies.

(That's Year 2000 Shit Hits The Fan)

 

I called up some hookers.

 

me too and i was worried i might have to get a life somewhere else

(the ford barn was boring)

I hid crouched in a dark corner rocking back and forwards repeating......

Didn't find out the H.A.M.B. was down till 8:30 p.m. Found out that I was right about nothing worth watching on TV. Too hot to piddle around in the garage. Went to bed.

 

Walked probably 2 miles, livingroom to the computer, hit refresh, DAMN IT, back to the livingroom, 3 minutes later repete......


The HAMBs back...i love you buddy

 

I ended up at 49ratfink's place...

 

Guys I have to be honest, I was totaly lost.
I lived in fear that the HAMB was gone, over, never to return, then I woke up and all was fine again.
Last night I realized there was a problem because it was taking so long to turn the pages, then BAM nothing.
Thanks to Ryan and that German dude for bringing me back to life.

 

Took my car around the block for its first drive and broke the transmission!

 

I lived my life.

The HAMB was down? I never noticed.

 

A friend came over and we actually hung out in the garage looking at Big Olds and talking.

 

Wow! I had no idea you were a lady of the night!

 

Well if you must know, I went to see my dear friend "safariwagon" and we fucked around with a top on his hoopty. Then I talked to "Captain Scarlett" about paint. Then safari and I went to the deli for an awesome sammich and some long-missing bullshit time. After that I made the 45min trek back south where I played with my dogs for abit and then settled in to a little bit of TV. I'm kinda likin that new show on USA called "suits". Truth be told, I thought it was the 'puter here at the shop that was fucked up so I just shut it off and moved on. Imagine my shock and horror to find that "the HAMB" was down...

 

Bought some more stuff for the hot rod.

 

I don't go on a normal computer very often and just use the jalopy journal app on my phone, when it quit working i assumed it was my phones problem so I deleted and reinstalled the app twice and now it works again. I spend my breaks and lunch hour at work browsing the hamb

 

Watched Reality TV with my wife... Love my wife, reality TV not so much, well I do like Big Brother( I will throw away my man card now)..
