Vin Is stamped in3 places on the frame.. Only one that may be visible.. It's the one you could possibly see is at or ahead of the firewall on the drivers side top of the rail... Will start with *18...... or *ab....... You say there's a number on the firewall?? Never heard of that.... Other than patent plates..

If you REALLY prefer an steel coupe that's not so pretty, I'll make you a deal on a hemi powered 40 Ford coupe that has room for improvements to the body but the mechanicals and wiring and glass are done. My wife said for me to buy mine, too. It will take some doing, but I think I could adjust to the 32 five window. Just trying to help a fella out! I'm sure others are willing to "help" you as well. To answer your question, I'd say it's worth $50,000 all day long. It is a far better investment than your 401K. It will only increase in value as long as you own it. Keep it sweet and enjoy it at will.
32 through 36 had the pumps at the fromt of the heads . I am building a hot rod model a coupe, I will trade ya.
