Customs Which chop do you like best?!?!

Alright boys, had my Chevy photoshopped by a buddy of mine Jeff with Los CoChinos CC Houston........ Really torn between the two so I figured my fellow HAMB'rs could help me decide! The first pic has the "Cat Walk" extended & the second has a standard chop.

I think the ones I've seen with the catwalk extended always seem to look better. Todd

I must be missing something cuz those pics look the same to me. Is the joke on me?

in both of those pics i think it would look better if the hump on the rear of the roof was lessened with like an inverted 21/2in pie cut up the c pillar my .02

I would go with the extended cat walk. It goes with the extended rear quarters. The deal is we go with what we like...... You do the same.

 

i like the regular, with losing some of the hump.

For me extending the cat walk makes the roof stubby like chopping a business coupe. I've always preffered laying the backlight down to meet the roof for more of a streamlined fastback look rather than sliding it forward.

 

I didn't really see any differance at first, but after others pointed it out i can see it. I like customs where the roof makes a smooth transition into the trunk, but i also like Ford shoebox business coupes with the stubby roof and long trunk. If i had to choose i guess i like the first pic. It's kind of like asking do 10 grille teeth or 9 look better? Sure there is a differance, albeit a subtle one.

 

Both look nice, but I like the extended catwalk just a little more.

your photochop really isn't accurate since the slant of the rear window is the same on both versions. I figure most people extend the catwalk to keep the rear window at less of an angle in more radical chops.

I see no reason to do it on this chop. lots of extra work for absolutely no gain.

 

Extended makes car look sleeker and longer.

The extended cat always seems like a cop out to me. I doesnt look right and seems like the easy way out. jmo

 

I think there is a huge difference in the two chops! IMO......

 

I'm having the same debate right now. I actually like #2 better
