not sure who 'made' the crewcab for Ford, but I can recall seeing a few of those used by railroads and forest service along with government entities for work crew transportation.

one I recall was a Northern Pacific RR truck that had the retractable adaptor track wheels for driving on the rails.

Return the favor; Have some hay/feed delivered or offer to have a farrier stop by and re shoe a couple of her horses.

Might be able to even get it running. Then sell or trade it to someone who wants to build a ramp or shop truck.

Propwash is right; These were often used by Railroad crews. Also remote oil drilling crews. Would be interesting to see if there's any old door lettering under the paint.

I'm sure you realize that the cabs were all the same size, wether f100 or f800 just the fenders were wider, larger to allow for larger wheels and tires. Here's your crew cab, just waiting for your talent.

I did not know that, Thats somthing to think about

  27. The mid-50s crewcab is super-scarce and that's a fairly desirable body style. You should have no problem selling it for a decent price, especially if you're willing to take the cab off and sell it seperate. I finally have a deal to sell my '66 ex-railroad crewcab and it's a piece of crap in comparison.

So what is one of these worth?

  29. Only way to get a good idea is to find another one that sold recently, there's no guide to put a number on it. Plus it depends how solid it is, although I'd guess it's going to be decent being on the west coast and being a big truck that sits up high.
