I am getting ready to order a radiator for my 29 model a coupe with a flathead. I have been shopping quality, manufacturing materials, and price. I am, like the rest of us, on a short budget and I seem to volunteer too much time at the fire dept. And limit my ability to make money. Lol.

My options I have been looking at are brass works(a hamb vendor), walker, finding a 32 v-8 and having it modified to my needs, ands some place that builds aluminum here in the states. I need a chopped 6" radiator for flathead so I have limited options I think. Copper brass is 800+ and aluminum is 400. I want copper brass and I think I should nut up and buy it.

What have you done? What is recomended?

Any ideas or coments are accepted

Walker is $150 more than brassworks. Brassworks is an alliance vendor right? I know I am not an alliance member but I sure like this site

  4. I have a Brassworks. They make them 2 in shorter for model A applications

My car is channeled so I need a 6" chop radiator. I takes with brassworks and they can build a 6 core I belive to make sure it will stay cool and they want $800.

Speedway has the walker in their book that is chopped 6" for $949. Six moths ago they were $650. I wish I would have bought it then.
