The HAMB must be getting too big, because there's no way I would've missed this build! I just spent the last hour looking all through this thread. I can't wait for an update.

  13. Just cruised the entire thread. Wow all accounts, great mild custom. The 57 is great.

  14. Thanks for the words of encouragement! :D The car is up in Santa Rosa at LazyV8's disposal at his new shop. I spent last Sunday up there with him working on the car. The driver side door needed some serious attention with the gaps. Its now fixed and we worked on block sanding it. Today and tomorrow LazyV8 is hitting it hard with block sanding as I will be back up north to help him this weekend.
Our big push is Gambinos open house for the debut. Last sunday we laid out some tape lines and we now know what direction we are going for the final paint! :D

Heres a few shots of the door repair...

  15. The seam split open / tig welded back together.

  16. Now lets fix the top of the door...

  17. LazyV8 took some flat stock, cut it in a wedge shape - Tig welded it to the top of the door.

had to do the same to get some gap, get as much gap as you can, with paint/primer etc.. it will close up quick. Nice job!

  19. On yours - how were the tops of your doors?

  20. Looking good man...Hope it'll get a fitting paintjob!!

Can you share a pic of one of these T-birds? Maybe a 58-60?

How do you llike this book? I hear the content is good but the photos are poor quality.
