    HAMB

I haven't had a subscription to a magazine in several years.

I thumb through at newsstand, and none of them are worth the coin

By the time something makes a magazine, it's already been covered months before on the HAMB

I did sell all my old magazines, dating back to late 60s. Provided Christmas for my family.

The Rodders Journal and Traditional Rod & Kulture. I did enjoy the Rod & Custom Little Pages that came out recently. I wish they would do that on a regular basis.

Interesting thread, I'll have to go back to our local newsagent and see if any of these magazine titles are available. Are there any other titles you guys can suggest that are worth a look in.:)

took the words right out of my mouth, er um.....fingers....

I look forward to every new release. The magazine is not full of stupidly expensive cars, like other mag feature cars. That is my ONE problem with TRJ, most of the cars featured look like they belong inside a glass display case and never get driven.

My pics in order: #1- Traditional Rod and Kulture, #2 Hot Rod Deluxe, #3 The Rodder's Journal.

All this may change if I can actually find a copy of the new Little Pages. I've looked everywhere locally to no avail

Hot Rod Deluxe. I've collected every issue, including the 1999 and 2000 issues.

  13. The Rodders Journal and Traditional Rod & Kulture are my favorites. I read them cover to cover. Hop Up was good one. I have looked at a few Hot Rod Deluxe's and will likely subscribe. They do a fine job. I let my Rod and Custom go. It's just not the same. Especially since my renewal price was nearly double what the new subscriber price is. Gee, thanks.

  14. Every now and then the local newsagent gets a copy of Rod and Kulture in and I like to flip through it for a minute or two. Bit pricey by the time it hits Aust, so I am too much of a tight arse to buy it. Have recently discovered a nice magazine down this way by the name of Cruzin' and have started devouring that, but I like the US mags the most. Still, Cruzin is a nice read.

Do it man, do it! You will never go back. I have all 29 issues and there is not a bad car (except maybe mine) in any one of them.
Kustoms illustrated is the best there is.

TRJ since the demise of HopUp.

  21. Yea, what happened to Hop Up? I get so many magazines. I would say TRJ is the best. Still get Popular Hot Rodding. Have every one back to June 62' , I like Engine Masters, just tough to find. Car Craft & R&C., Kustoms Ill. It's really too many. Don't get to read half of them.

Hands down... TRJ. That 2000-page article a while back about towing Coonan's frame cross country was one of the lamest things I've seen ... but it's still the pick of the litter.

Rodders Journal by a mile. Was a big fan of Garage, really hated to see it fold.

I read whatever I can get my dirty hands on. I like TRJ and I like Hop Up. Really anything that has a average Joe sort of feel to it. I couldn't care less for all the fancy pastry crap though.......I sure don't read no Motor Trend.
