Add me to that list, I'm dead sick and tired of seeing flat paint on otherwise perfect cars. One of those fads that I just don't get the reason for.

I usually don't like chops on 36 5-windows but I really like this one.

    HELL YEAH !!! beauutifuul!!!!

i love it,,but as i am admiring these pics, just wondering in my head if any one has ever canted (slanted) the B-pillars on a 5 window 35/36 chop??? seems it would make it flow like crazy...

Nice to see a hot rod like this moved on to someone that takes it to evena higher level of coolness. I hear the dudes saying no chops on the 5 window but this one is spot on. I love the present car and every mod to it, the banjo wheel and dash treatment are awesome. This is one of my classic hall of fame cars of this decade. Congrats to all involved in a superb tasty custom hot rod. Would love to see this car in the street cruzin along. Arriba! ~sololobo~

Looks great, glad to see it coming together. I know Kevin was looking for a 35-36 for awhile and he had some ups and downs getting this one. But it was well worth the wait I think.

Great job!! That car actually sits on a modified Toyota chassis if I remember correctly. Manuel has always had cool stuff!

  24. Very few 5W chops flow this nicely; well done.

The Plymouth gauge cluster is perfect....

Thanks guys, I really appreciate all the great comments.
I do not have any bare metal pics of this car. We never stripped it down. My brother Dylan may have some work in progress pics, I will ask him. Dylan did the skirts on this car. His first flush job turned out perfect.

I wanted to say that too...I don't think I'll ever get used to a *satin* finish on a car that's painted anything other than black...and even then it doesn't look finished.

Other than that (and that's only MY opinion) I love the car and don't mean this post to take anything away from what you've accomplished.

That car nails it! i never would have considered "suede" paint on mine, but that blue works! nice job.
