The Antique Nationals June 5th 2011

This is the best traditional race in socal in my opinion, every socal Hamber needs to be there!!

Tomorrow is the Antique Nationals! We are going over our car getting it ready, one last start up and it's going on the trailer!!

You guys ready??

 

Yep - just checked the fluids and tire pressure, fired her up for the first time in months and ready to go - really looking forward to it....

 

cleaned up my coupe the best as I could. checking tire pressure, oil and fluids and a few minor tweaks and I am ready. make my food in the morning and pack the ice chest and I will be off and running. dont forget to bring sunscreen

Well, I won't have my Deuce there this year. I will be there, but driving a late model, gun metal gray '59 El Camino with chrome reverse wheels and black walls. So no racing for me.

 

Finally got the dragster all loaded up, and on the trailer. Had to deal with a tranny leak...

Excited to see and meet everyone tomorrow!

btt so the night guys can see my pix. The weather was perfect, there was a great selection of cars and even a few motorcycles and even a couple of Whizzer bikes, too.

 

It was an AMAZING day! Couldn't have gone better!

 

I just edited 712 photos....all shot in six hours today, whats that?...a photo every 30 seconds for 6 hours....
I'll post some tomorrow.

Can't wait! glad I finally got to meet you today! And I still owe you time to sit in the Doll. I couldn't find you before round 1 began, and we ended up going to finals so we were busy the rest if the day (or atleast trying to look busy haha)
