Heres my view of Friday night and the Cruise down Broadway, the night life and of course all the people.
Cruzr and I had a great time, stayed at the Santa Maria Inn. We saw old friends and made some new ones. We got there Thursday and left Monday morning.
32gal and I truly had a great time. I took the coupe this year and we left her Roadster at home. Her 32Roadster won Early Hot Rod in 2009 at Santa Maria. The event has truly taken on a life of its own. The Friday night cruise was asum this year. Except for the coupe getting moisture in the ignition ,causing it not to start Monday morning when we were getting ready to leave for home{man did i piss someone off when i got it started, had to "clear it out" and run it for awhile to get the battery back up, it was early and i guess i woke someone up...LOL}it was a super 4 days for us both.
32gal, some excellent pics, thanks very much, in post #2, first pic, top, left, 3 people walking there is a cool little white P/U off to the side, any other pics or info, thank you, TR
Thank you cruzr, great pics and thanks for sharing, the dog with the glasses is a hoot, my wife is always dressing up our english bulldogs!!!!
Saw you over there fighting it Monday morning. I was loading my wagon up. Great hot rod. Glad you got it goin again.
Thanks.........yea..once we got down the road a little ,she smoothed right out and ran like a champ all the way home.
At the start of the cruise Friday night this guy comes down the street on a skateboard being towed by his dogs.It was way cool. Lots of dogs were there this year.
Kool Pix Cruzr and 32 Gal, Great to see Broiler regs out in force with Gary n Nick from Chopit Customs! Their work is unbelievable! Defintely looks like Paso-Maria has taken on a life all of its own. Hope that ya both drove into Guadalupe to hit the Far West Tavern for grub! It's a very kool place .
I forgot...I got to cruise in a 1953 Nash-Healey{body by Farina} Friday night. That car got more looks than you could imagine. It is 1 of 62 made.
Hey 32gal & cruzr, nice meeting youse at Santa Maria! We had a blast! Great pics, we'll seeyas next year! -Fabian Chopit
Fabian, You're welcome. Your Dad and Nick gave us the "Chopit Chop Tour" on Sat after those poor gjuys woke up @ 4am to make it to DoNuts! The Trompers of Eagle Rock invited them out to a monthly cruise nite, but they were beat! Next month, You and Tiff are doing an excellent job on the MORDOR MERC. My God that floor looked factory! That Bubble Top WINGED DELIGHT project is going to ala Roth-Starbird-o-licious! Man=What talent, Glad that "youse guys" didn't stick it out in Flo-Town. CA needs talent like that. C-ya soon, CK
